Introduction

In classical science, events are described using four coordinates: (x, y, z, t) — space and time. This model gives us a way to plot motion, position, and change. But what if that is not enough?

In the real world — where we win and lose, hope and hesitate — events are more than location and time. They carry meaning, direction, consequence. And so, the Al-Asr Dynamic Number System (ADNS) adds what is missing: sign (σ) and scale level (ℓ).

This chapter explores the shift from static points to dynamic events.

1.1 Classical Coordinates: The Four Dimensions

Physics defines any event as a point in:

Symbol

Meaning

Unit

x

East–West (longitude)

meters

y

North–South (latitude)

meters

z

Vertical (altitude)

meters

t

Time of occurrence

seconds

This model works for motion, collisions, orbits, and cause-effect calculations — but it ignores context:

  • Was the event good or bad?
  • Was it a gain or a loss?
  • Did it occur on a macro or pico scale?

1.2 The Problem: A Point Without Purpose

Imagine two people falling:

  • A child falls while playing and gets injured.
  • A fruit falls from a tree and is picked.

Physics sees the same formula:

Falling = gravity → same position, same time.

But life sees difference:

  • One is a loss (−), the other is gain (+)
  • One is tragedy, the other nourishment.

Thus, events need signs and scales to be fully understood.

1.3 The ADNS Expansion: Event = (x, y, z, t, σ, ℓ)

In the Al-Asr Dynamic Number System, the full event becomes:

Event = (x, y, z, t, σ, ℓ)

Symbol

Meaning

x, y, z

Physical location (3D space)

t

Time of event (temporal marker)

σ

Sign: gain (+), loss (−), pause (0), oscillation (±)

Level of scale (macro to pico)

This formula brings meaning and dimension to every action.

1.4 Real Example: The Birth of a Thought

  • x, y, z = coordinates of your brain
  • t = 0.00002 seconds after a signal
  • σ = + (gain of insight)
  • ℓ = 2.5 (micro to nano scale)

Now, we don’t just record a brain signal. We know its value:
It was a beneficial event, at a precise scale, in a defined time.

ADNS transforms data into wisdom.

1.5 Surah Al-Asr and the Reality of Time

وَالْعَصْرِ
إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ

"By The  Time… Surely the mankind is in loss."

This divine insight confirms:

  • Time is a witness, not a background.
  • Without right actions (+σ), we drift toward loss (−σ).
  • Without measuring our moments (ℓ), we waste our potential.

ADNS is built to obey this logic — a system born from revelation.

Summary

Model

Coordinates

Meaning

Classical

(x, y, z, t)

ADNS

Direction + value + scale

In ADNS, an event is where, when, what, and why.
